Debio okologisk

It is the control body that approves organic and sustainable productions in Norway. They are the guarantor that goods marked with the Ø label are produced ecologically and sustainably.

Products with the Ø label are based on nature's cycle. Fruits and vegetables are given time to grow and develop their natural taste and nutrient content, without synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilizers, and with severely limited use of preservatives. Organic meat, milk and eggs come from animals that get more space, light, air and exercise. Other products with the Ø label are based on organic raw materials and processing methods that consider the environment.

If you choose products with the Ø label, you can be sure that:
- the food has not been added artificial flavours or colours- no genetically modified material has been used in the production- meat, milk and eggs come from animals that are allowed to move freely
- fruit and vegetables have not been sprayed with chemical/synthetic pesticides
- you get a nutritious diet with a natural taste
- you choose a product that follows nature's premises
- You can find out where the food comes from;

EU/Non-EU Organic logo

The EU organic logo indicates that this product fully complies with the conditions and regulations for the organic farming sector established by the European Union. For processed products, at least 95% of the agricultural ingredients are organic. Next to the new EU organic logo, a code number of the control body is displayed as well as the place where the agricultural raw materials composing the product have been farmed.

It is often named “Euro-leaf”. It symbolizes the marriage of Europe (the stars derived from the European flag) and Nature (the stylized leaf and the green colour).

Fair Wild Foundation

FairWild certification means that buyers – from ingredient traders up to consumers – know they are dealing with legally and sustainably harvested products.

Kosher Certification

Kosher Certification is the stamp of kosher approval by a rabbinic Agency verifying they have checked the products' ingredients, production facility and actual production to ensure all ingredients, derivatives, tools and machinery have no trace of non-kosher substances.

The Kosher certificate is a document issued by certification agencies and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, in which a Rabbi certifies that the products referred (usually food products) fulfill the biblical precepts of the Jewish religion.

KRAV

It has adapted the standards to IFOAM Basic Standards. The KRAV standards also fulfil the EU standards for organic production in the regulation (EC) No 834/2007. In some cases, the KRAV standards are stricter than the EU standards. Benefit to customer - KRAV is the key player in the organic market in Sweden. The KRAV label is well-known among Swedish consumers. KRAV inspections can easily be combined with other services, saving you time and money.

Organic Soil Association

For a food product to be labelled as organic, every organisation working up and down its supply chain – from farmers to packers, to food processors, and organic retailers – have to meet organic standards and prove it to an organic certification body. All organic farms and food companies are thoroughly inspected at least once a year.
