Flavour 3/5: It has a bitter flavour, the malty flavour I detected only when the tea got cold. Even then I needed to focus to sense it because it is very mild. Also, it gave me an unpleasant feeling to feel my mouth going dry.

Overall this tea is an ordinary black tea, which makes it special only by its nice name, the fact that it has been mixed from teas grown in the Brahmaputra valley and the convenient price.

Additional notes: Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. 95% black tea, 3.5% natural bergamot flavouring. Unfortunately, this tea could not receive the Tea House award, This tea seemed to me as a traditional black tea. I wanted to taste the bergamot flavour.

Additional notes: It is hard to discuss the manufacturer’s description as I saw this tea is not rich. I would like to say it might be robust tea. Also, I do not think it is smooth as it is bitter. I guess anything bitter cannot be smooth as it might make your face pinch.

Interestingly, I found it very lightly sweet in aftertaste.

Smell 5/5:  When a bag is not soaked in hot water, it has a strong peach and cherry aroma, but when the tea bag is soaked in water, it smells of cherry only at the beginning. Later it's possible to smell a lovely peach aroma, however, cherry is dominating.

Smell 5/5:  It has a strong peppermint aroma, with a tender liquorice smell.

Flavour 5/5: It has a strong liquorice flavour blending with peppermint. It has a long-lasting peppermint taste and it is possible to feel sweetness at the end of the throat, which lasts for a long time. This tea has waking and freshness properties. Taste-wise, it deserves to be a highest-class tea. I enjoyed it to its last drop. The manufacturer’s description matches the taste.
